Welcome to the Mongolian lakes! This web shows the great richness and diversity of the lakes glittering in the lightly stained landscape of the immense and undisturbed Mongol country. These lakes, besides being fascinatingly beautiful, hoard in their waters a very old and slightly known flora and fauna. A group of Spanish limnologists have been surveying Mongolian lakes for seven years and presents here their field observations with the support of the most recent technologies.
